Evolve Dark Matter Crossgrade from any Evolve product is the discounted route into Excite Audio's dark sample-based synthesizer for existing customers. The eligibility is stated precisely: this is a crossgrade for owners of the full version of any Evolve product, and the full version of Evolve Dark Matter is also available separately. That means owning Evolve Alloy, Evolve Elastic, Evolve Air, Evolve Velvet, or Evolve Nest Acoustics at full (not Lite) tier qualifies you for the reduced price. The instrument itself is a unique sample-based synthesizer designed to capture the sonic essence of Dark Matter, and the sixth entry in the series. It is built for dark drum and bass, atmospheric techno, and heavier electronic styles, with sound content that leans heavy and dark — sub-rumbles, tectonic low end, and ominous textures rather than bright leads or clean pads. It runs the series' quad-engine architecture, blending four layers of samples or synths, with 4 Sound Sources (A, B, C, D), Sample and Synth OSC engines, an XY Pad with Sounds and FX modes, randomise across sounds, parameters, and effects, and 4 macros: Quanta, Entropy, Orbit, and Infinite. The full edition carries 250 sound sources and 250 presets, with user sample import. It runs as VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and standalone on macOS 10.15 or higher (Intel and native Apple Silicon) and Windows 7 or higher, 64-bit only, with a recommended buffer size of 512 samples or higher. A separate Upgrade from Evolve Dark Matter Lite tier also exists for Lite owners. #EvolveDarkMatter #Evolve #ExciteAudio #Crossgrade #SampleBasedSynth #DarkAmbient #Cinematic #SoundDesign #Textures #Macros #Quanta #Entropy #Orbit #Infinite #XYPAD #ElectronicMusic #MusicProduction #VST #VST3 #AU #AAX #FLStudio #AbletonLive
