Evolve Air Upgrade from Evolve Air Lite is the route for Lite owners to the complete instrument. Both editions share the Evolve engine, and the instrument is the sound of ambience, delivering over 250 presets filled with longing, including distant vocal phrases, ghostly pads, foggy melodic motifs, and vast cinematic spaces, giving you an emotional palette that feels weightless and alive. Its stated inspirations are experimental and ambient artists like Tim Hecker, Jon Hopkins, Brian Eno, and others. What the upgrade buys is source and preset depth, and the full version's architecture is documented: a hybrid synth engine with four morphable sound-source layers, where each of the four layers can house either a sample-based instrument from a selection of 250 sources, or a synth oscillator, and where you can import your own samples into Evolve Air to start a new sound or replace any source of an existing patch. Source types are handled distinctly: sampled sources give you play direction, tone, and keytracking parameters to play with, while synth sources get an oscillator shape slider and unison detuning, and for any sound you can control the Pitch and Fine tuning, plus Velocity Sensitivity, Panning, and Volume. The output passes through four air-inspired macro effects with dual filters and 16 effects modules, including saturation, feedback, delay, reverb, modulation, phaser, pitch drift, and more. The Lite edition carries a reduced source and preset library against that. Eligibility requires ownership of Evolve Air Lite, and the upgrade is tied to that licence; a separate Crossgrade from any full Evolve product exists for owners of any full Evolve title. It runs as VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and standalone on macOS 10.15 or higher (Intel and native Apple Silicon) and Windows 7 or higher, 64-bit only, with a recommended buffer size of 512 samples or higher, tested in Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Nuendo, Reaper, and Reason. It suits ambient, cinematic, and atmospheric electronic production. #EvolveAir #Evolve #ExciteAudio #Upgrade #Ambient #Atmospheric #Cinematic #Textures #GhostlyPads #SoundDesign #HybridSynth #Macros #XYPAD #SampleImport #ElectronicMusic #FilmScore #MusicProduction #VST #VST3 #AU #AAX #Standalone #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase
