Evolve Air Crossgrade from any full Evolve product is the discounted route into the atmospheric entry of the Evolve series for existing customers. Eligibility is stated precisely: it is a crossgrade for owners of the full version of any Evolve product, and the full version of Evolve Air is also available separately — so owning Evolve Alloy, Evolve Dark Matter, Evolve Elastic, Evolve Velvet, or Evolve Nest Acoustics at full tier qualifies you. Lite editions do not, as the series maintains separate Upgrade from ... Lite paths. The instrument is the sound of ambience, delivering over 250 presets filled with longing, including distant vocal phrases, ghostly pads, foggy melodic motifs, and vast cinematic spaces, giving you an emotional palette that feels weightless and alive. It is a hybrid morphing synthesizer for atmospheric textures whose stated inspirations are experimental and ambient artists like Tim Hecker, Jon Hopkins, Brian Eno, and others. The engine is the series' hybrid synth engine with four morphable sound-source layers, where each of the four layers can house either a sample-based instrument from a selection of 250 sources, or a synth oscillator, and you can import your own samples into Evolve Air to start a new sound or replace any source of an existing patch. Sampled sources offer play direction, tone, and keytracking parameters, while synth sources get an oscillator shape slider and unison detuning, and any sound supports Pitch and Fine tuning plus Velocity Sensitivity, Panning, and Volume. The output passes through four air-inspired macro effects with dual filters and 16 effects modules, including saturation, feedback, delay, reverb, modulation, phaser, pitch drift, and more. It runs as VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and standalone on macOS 10.15 or higher (Intel and native Apple Silicon) and Windows 7 or higher, 64-bit only, tested in Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Nuendo, Reaper, and Reason. A Lite edition and an Upgrade from Evolve Air Lite are also available. It suits ambient, cinematic, and atmospheric electronic production. #EvolveAir #Evolve #ExciteAudio #Crossgrade #Ambient #Atmospheric #Cinematic #Textures #GhostlyPads #SoundDesign #HybridSynth #Macros #XYPAD #SampleImport #ElectronicMusic #FilmScore #MusicProduction #VST #VST3 #AU #AAX #Standalone #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase
