Arturia Efx MOTIONS is a movement-based audio processing plugin designed to turn static sounds into evolving rhythmic and spatial textures. Its five main processing modules—Filter, Noise, Distortion, Volume, and Pan—can be reordered and independently controlled, while each module can be triggered using an Envelope Sequencer, Euclidean patterns, Clock sync, MIDI, or a Transient Detector. The Motion Editor allows users to draw custom envelope shapes or select presets to create synchronized movement across multiple parameters.

Efx MOTIONS also includes a 16-step Beat Repeater, two FX slots with 14 effect types, a frequency crossover, two assignable multi-destination macros, and three modulation generators capable of step sequencing, functions, random modulation, and envelope following. The plugin includes 300+ presets and supports applications ranging from rhythmic gating and filter movement to stutters, tape stops, transitions, stereo movement, and complex sound design. It runs on Windows and macOS in VST, VST3, AAX, AU, and NKS-compatible 64-bit environments.
