Eclipse is a creative instrument built around processed source material, designed for producers working with evolving atmospheres and organic textures. It sits in the territory occupied by contemporary textural instruments — where a plugin functions less as a traditional synth and more as a generator of movement and atmosphere that supports an arrangement rather than a recurring melodic or harmonic component. Its output is characteristically long-form, shifting, and layered.

That makes it a natural fit for ambient, cinematic, and experimental electronic music, and for film, television, and game scoring where sustained beds are the foundation. It also suits use as a layering element under more defined parts, adding depth without competing. It runs as a plugin on macOS and Windows in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats and is compatible with major DAWs including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, and Pro Tools.
