Spotlight Collection: East Asia is a Kontakt instrument by Native Instruments featuring traditional instruments from China, Japan, and Korea. The library contains 14 melodic instruments, 24 percussion instruments, and 4 percussion ensembles, recorded from performances in Seoul, Shenzhen, and Tokyo. Its sound palette includes instruments such as Dizi, Erhu, Guzheng, Guqin, Pipa, Yangqin, Gayageum, Daegeum, and traditional drums and percussion.
The library combines authentic instrument samples with traditional scales, tunings, customizable melodic phrases, percussion patterns, grooves, fills, and performance controls. Built-in mixing and studio effects provide additional shaping for contemporary productions, film scores, soundtracks, and atmospheric music. East Asia runs inside the free Kontakt Player or full Kontakt and requires approximately 26 GB of disk space.
