The Drum Machine Collection bundles five genre-defining Roland rhythm instruments into one package: authentic recreations of the TR-808, TR-606, TR-909, TR-707, and TR-727. These machines shaped decades of music — from the 808's role in hip hop and trap to the 909's place in house and techno — and each is rebuilt with Roland's ACB (Analog Circuit Behavior) circuit modeling technology, enhanced with new sound-shaping options. Detailed resizable interfaces give the feel of working with the vintage hardware inside a DAW.

The collection extends the originals with expanded parameters and onboard effects to modernize the sounds, an evolved sequencer capable of complex patterns and intricate grooves, and all original factory patches alongside new sounds suited to contemporary music. It also offers hands-on control and pattern transfer with the TR-8S Rhythm Performer, so hardware integration is supported. Each title runs as VST3, AU, and AAX with native Apple Silicon support, and a Lifetime Key purchase provides access to future updates and feature enhancements. An internet connection is required for installation and activation via Roland Cloud.
