XLN Audio DB-30 Drum Butter is a multi-effects processor designed specifically for drums, combining six modules that work together to shape attack, tone, texture, space, and dynamics. The Boom Shack, Shift, Space, Compress, Saturate, and More modules can be reordered and adjusted individually, while Focus Filters and Target controls allow processing to be directed toward specific frequency ranges, transients, or sustain. A global Magnitude control scales the processing across the plugin for fast adjustment.

DB-30 includes six compression modes, six saturation modes, pitch and formant shifting, reverb, low-end enhancement, transient and sustain processing, and a master section with EQ, clipping, Air, Attack, Sustain, and output controls. It also includes more than 260 presets, with module locking and randomization for quickly exploring different processing combinations. The plugin runs on Windows 10/11 and macOS 10.13 or later in VST3, AU, and AAX formats, making it suitable for drum loops, individual hits, drum machines, live recordings, and drum buses.
