Auburn Sounds Couture is a dynamics and transient-shaping processor designed to provide detailed control over attacks and releases without being affected by input volume. Its processing can emphasize or soften transients while maintaining balanced gain compensation, making it useful for shaping the dynamics of individual tracks, buses, and complete mixes. Couture also integrates a dynamics-preserving distortion stage, allowing saturation and transient processing to work together rather than treating them as separate processes.

Couture includes transient controls, attack detection modes, saturation, filtering, a Mood filter, dry/wet mixing, and adjustable oversampling up to 8x in the Full Edition. Its six saturation models provide different forms of harmonic coloration, while the Mood filter can dynamically shape the frequency content around transients. The plugin is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux in VST2, VST3, AU, AAX, LV2, and CLAP formats, making it suitable for drums, vocals, bass, synths, buses, and creative sound design.
