ChopBeast 2 is a specialized audio slicing and loop remixing plugin developed by W. A. Production. Designed to turn static sample loops into dynamic rhythmic hooks, vocal chops, and stuttered grooves, it takes inspiration from classic French house, UK garage, hyperpop, EDM, and modern pop production techniques. Producers can drag and drop any vocal phrase, drum loop, or synth line directly into the interface to instantly chop, rearrange, and re-pitch the audio.

The engine splits incoming loops into up to 32 individual slices with granular per-slice controls—including independent volume editing, pitch shifting, formant manipulation, reverse playback, and custom declicking to prevent audio pops. Version 2 adds melodic pitch randomization across musical intervals (Octaves, 5ths, 3rds, Major/Minor scales), discrete Lock controls for individual slices and FX parameters, DAW playback sync (with Half-Time and Double-Time modes), and one-shot or hold MIDI auditioning. Sliced arrangements can also be exported directly to your DAW timeline via MIDI/audio drag-and-drop. ChopBeast 2 operates as a 64-bit plugin in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats for Windows (8/10/11) and macOS (10.15+ with Apple Silicon and Intel support).
