Engineered as a component-accurate emulation of Wade Goeke's hardware creation—itself derived from the vintage British EMI TG12345 desk used by Abbey Road Studios on seminal 1960s and 70s records—it brings legendary vintage topology into the modern digital domain. It is widely used across mastering, bus processing, hip-hop, Afrobeats, pop, rock, EDM, and cinematic scoring to add silky high-end sheen, tight low-end weight, and vintage analog character to mixes.

The plugin expands upon the physical hardware’s capability with digital workflow features. Its core architecture features 4 equalizer bands offering up to 51 frequency points, selectable bell or shelf curves, and specialized gain multiplier switching (allowing precise 0.5 dB mastering steps or up to 13.5 dB creative mixing boosts). Key software-exclusive features include Mid/Side (M/S) processing, independent L/R channel linking, output level trim controls, custom stereo width adjustment, and full integration into Softube’s Console 1 mixing ecosystem.
