Softube Bus Processor 670 is a dual-channel variable-mu tube compressor designed to capture the weight, warmth, and harmonic character associated with classic 670-style processing while adding features for modern mixing and mastering. Its variable-mu architecture provides dynamically changing compression ratios in response to signal level, allowing it to add cohesion, density, and analog-style movement to buses and complete mixes. The compressor offers six time-constant configurations, linked or independent channel operation, and Classic or Modern compression modes.

The plugin also provides independent tube and transformer saturation, Calibration, sidechain filtering and tone shift, Stereo Link, Mid/Side processing, Air, Width, and Mono Bass controls. The Saturator can be blended separately from the compressor, while the Spatializer provides additional control over stereo width and low-frequency imaging. Bus Processor 670 supports AU, VST, VST3, and AAX on Windows 10/11 and macOS, and is compatible with Softube Console 1 and Flow Studio systems.
