Thenatan Blur is a cinematic sound-design and transition effect designed to transform vocals, synths, drums, and other audio into blurred, atmospheric textures. Its main Blur control provides a fast way to create dreamy wash-outs, underwater effects, and evolving transition textures, while the underlying processing engine provides more detailed control for users who want to shape the effect manually. It is particularly suited to Trap, R&B, Ambient, Drill, and experimental production.

Blur provides independent high- and low-frequency decay controls, allowing the processed tail to behave differently across the frequency spectrum. Additional controls include Curve for shaping the response, high-pass and low-pass filters for controlling the processed frequency range, and Damp for reducing high-frequency brightness. A real-time spectral analyzer provides visual feedback of the dry and processed signals, while included presets provide starting points for cinematic transitions and atmospheric processing. The plugin is available for Windows and macOS in VST, VST3, and AU formats, with native Apple Silicon support.
