Bloom Ensemble Strings Crossgrade from any Full Bloom Product is the discounted route into the strings entry of the Bloom series for existing customers. Eligibility follows the series' standard crossgrade logic: it applies to owners of the full version of any Bloom product, so owning Bloom Bass Impulse, Bloom Drum Kits, Bloom Drum Breaks, Bloom Drum Percussion, Bloom Drum Machine, Bloom Synth Analogue, Bloom Synth Atmosphere, Bloom Vocal Aether, Bloom Mura Masa, or Bloom KSHMR at full tier qualifies. Lite editions do not qualify, as the series maintains parallel Upgrade from. Lite paths instead.

The instrument itself is instant emotion — the first ensemble instrument in the Bloom series built specifically for classical and orchestral layers, built from a rich collection of basses, cellos, and violins and spanning rhythmic pizzicatos, abstract textures, intimate layers, and full ensemble stacks. It is inspired by forward-thinking artists and producers like Floating Points, Sigur Rós, and Jack Antonoff, alongside scoring heavyweights such as Hans Zimmer. Its features comprise 5 Main FX Parameters — Mod, Delay, Reverb, Lo-Cut, Hi-Cut, Global Bypass, 250 Presets, sample import for up to 112 of your own samples, and 3 effects with 4 performance macros. It runs as VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and standalone on macOS 10.15 or higher (Intel and native Apple Silicon) and Windows 7 or higher, 64-bit only, with a recommended buffer size of 512 samples or higher, tested in Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Nuendo, Reaper, and Reason. An internet connection is required to authorise this software. Confirm crossgrade terms with your supplier, since these are tied to licence ownership.
