Bloom Bass Impulse Crossgrade from any Full Bloom Product is a crossgrade, and the purchase type determines eligibility and should be stated plainly: a crossgrade lets an owner of a related product buy a different product at a reduced price on the basis of the earlier purchase, whereas an upgrade moves an owner to a newer version of the same product — and the qualifying condition here is ownership of any full Bloom product, which means a full-edition Bloom instrument rather than a Lite edition, and the catalogue should say so explicitly, since it is exactly the detail that decides whether a buyer qualifies.

The product being crossgraded into is documented: Bloom Bass Impulse is presented under the heading groundbreaking bass, and it will elevate your tracks with a spectrum of modern, powerful basslines, seamlessly blend between bass styles for genre-defying productions, shape and sculpt unique bass layers with expressive modulation, and form dynamic sequences from a rich library of contemporary bass sounds. The "seamlessly blend between bass styles" capability is the design idea, and it reflects the Bloom series' shared architecture, which is documented on its siblings — as Excite Audio describes Bloom Vocal Aether as combining vocal loops, one-shots and phrases into a playable instrument engineered and curated to provide a stunning sonic experience out of the box, built on four macro controls that command a curated chain of effects, their settings expertly tuned to the samples that form the instrument, with eight banks of sounds to choose from whose contents can be rearranged and swapped out, comprehensive sample editing features to adapt source playback, and an Edit page opening up in-depth possibilities with precise control over sample editing, phrase performance, and effects across 250 presets. Applied to bass, that architecture means a producer plays bassline material across a keyboard, blends between sources, and processes it through macros — which is a different working method from either a synth or a sample pack.

Its requirements are documented and are broad: Windows 7 or higher, plugin formats VST, VST3, AAX, and standalone, DAWs supported: Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Nuendo, Reaper, Reason and more, and 64-bit compatible only — with a user manual available from the developer. Note that the requirement list is documented for Windows but the product is a Mac and PC release, so the catalogue should The developer's full range is documented: Excite Audio publishes the Bloom series of phrase instruments, the Evolve series of layered virtual instruments, and the Motion series of granular and modulation effects, and all run as VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and standalone on macOS and Windows with native Apple Silicon support, supporting Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Nuendo, Reaper, and Reason. The crossgrade's value is the price difference for a producer already committed to the Bloom approach — and the catalogue should list the other Bloom titles, since a qualifying purchaser is choosing which additional Bloom instrument to add — the documented set including Bloom Vocal Aether, Bloom Vocal Aether Lite, Bloom Drum Breaks, Bloom Drum Breaks Lite, and Bloom Synth Analogue. It suits electronic music, bass music, house, techno, and contemporary production, and the instrument is best presented as a bassline instrument rather than a bass synth, since its sources are curated bass material rather than oscillators.
