Bloom Bass Impulse is described as groundbreaking bass, and it offers an intuitive path to finding the perfect bass sound, providing you with high-quality, royalty-free loops and one-shots ready to be morphed and manipulated. The genre spread is unusually wide for a bass instrument: from the pulsating energy of Drum and Bass's Reese bass to the acid squelch of 303s, the gritty growl of distorted basses, the depths of sub-bass, the precision of tech, to the wobble of dubstep, this tool is a treasure trove for anyone looking to anchor their tracks with a spectrum of cutting-edge bass. The workflow is described as a short path to results: to get started you can choose a key, pick a preset or sample bank, and start one of the 14 bpm-synced bass loops across two octaves, with eight banks of sounds, each one focused on a different type of bass. You can trigger a sample with MIDI to add bass, or use the Phrase Player to integrate the sample into a more complex bassline. Shaping is handled by three bespoke effects modules: Saturation for warmth and edge, an Envelope Filter for audio-responsive frequency sculpting, and Reverb for adding spatial dimensions — plus four macro controls (Sub-EQ, Noise, Crush, and Width) for instant tonal adjustments, while the Edit page lets you customise almost everything you'd need to, with control over sample manipulation, sequence creation, modulation, and effects. It runs as VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and standalone on macOS 10.15 or higher (Intel and native Apple Silicon) and Windows 7 or higher, 64-bit only, tested in Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Nuendo, Reaper, and Reason. An internet connection is required to authorise the software, and a Lite edition is also available. #BloomBassImpulse #Bloom #ExciteAudio #Bass #BassInstrument #SubBass #ReeseBass #303 #Dubstep #DrumAndBass #BassGroove #PhrasePlayer #Macros #Sequencer #ElectronicMusic #MusicProduction #VST #VST3 #AU #AAX #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase
