BFD Virtually Erskine is an expansion pack for BFD3 featuring 2 stunning kits played by the legendary drummer Peter Erskine of Weather Report, Steps Ahead, and artists such as Steely Dan, Joni Mitchell, and many more. Erskine's playing is defined by precision, restraint, and a light touch that still carries a band, and a library built from his kits is consequently oriented toward jazz, fusion, and studio work where tone and touch matter more than volume. The library is an expansion pack for FXpansion's BFD3, BFD Eco, and BFD2 software drum instruments. A companion product complements it: Virtually Erskine Grooves is a BFD Groove Pack with over 400 patterns played by legendary drummer Peter Erskine, where the selection features Peter playing 12 unique styles in 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures covering jazz, swing, rock, funk, and Afro-Cuban genres, and Virtually Erskine Grooves is produced by Cymbal Masters and can be used with BFD Virtually Erskine or any other library in your BFD sessions. Requirements for the expansion are BFD 3 License Required on Windows 10 version 1909 and above or macOS 12 Monterey and above, with 5.86 GB free disk space required and an Intel Core i5 3.0 GHz or above. Supported formats are VST2, VST3, and AAX on Windows and VST2, VST3, AAX, and AU (Intel and ARM — Rosetta is not required) on Mac. During installation you are given the option of installing the data for BFD3 only or for BFD2/BFD Eco/BFD3, and the data in the BFD3 version is compressed for use with BFD3 but will not work in BFD2 or BFD Eco. Note that BFD expansions require BFD 3.5 and are not compatible with BFD Player expansions. #BFDVirtuallyErskine #BFD #BFD3 #PeterErskine #JazzDrums #FusionDrums #DrumExpansion #DrumKits #AcousticDrums #GroovePack #PlatinumSamples #CymbalMasters #WeatherReport #StepsAhead #MusicProduction #VST2 #VST3 #AAX #AU #ProTools #LogicPro #Cubase #Reaper
