BFD Swan Percussion is an expansion pack for BFD3, BFD Eco, and BFD2, featuring a variety of innovative percussion and effect cymbal sounds. Its distinguishing material is the effect cymbal set: the included set of Crescent Haptic series effect cymbals provide characterful crash, resonator, crash china, and ride china cymbal sounds — instruments designed for texture rather than conventional cymbal roles, which gives the library a sound design dimension beyond standard kit work. Performance variety is a stated priority: the sounds are played variously by hands, rods, mallets, and sticks, so the same instrument can be captured in several striking methods, and the pack comes with a selection of presets and funky percussive Grooves perfect for all music styles requiring dynamic, exciting percussion. It sits alongside other percussion-focused BFD content for producers building layered rhythm sections. Requirements are BFD 3.5 License Required on Windows 10 version 1909 and above or macOS 12 Monterey and above, with 1.88 GB free disk space required — making it a notably compact expansion relative to the larger kit libraries — plus an internet connection to authorize. Supported formats are VST2, VST3, and AAX on Windows and VST2, VST3, AAX, and AU (Intel and ARM — Rosetta is not required) on Mac. Note that BFD expansions require BFD 3.5 and are not compatible with BFD Player expansions, and content is managed through the inMusic Software Center. #BFDSwanPercussion #BFD #BFD3 #SwanPercussion #Percussion #EffectCymbals #CrescentCymbals #DrumExpansion #DrumKits #HandPercussion #Rods #Mallets #SoundDesign #MusicProduction #VST2 #VST3 #AAX #AU #ProTools #LogicPro #Cubase #Reaper
