BFD Player Expansion: Americana Sticks invites you to dive into the oil soaked vibes of grungy authentic country, neo-folk, and vintage rock, and it is derived from the acclaimed BFD Horsepower expansion pack, where it reimagines a Gretsch USA Custom drumkit, played with sticks in exacting detail. The Gretsch USA Custom is a storied shell design valued for a warm, rounded tone with a distinctive midrange character, and the sticks-only capture gives the pack a focused, consistent articulation set rather than the broader articulation spread a full multi-technique library would carry.

Its kit specification is documented: 20x14" Gretsch USA Custom Kick, 16x16" Floor Tom, 13x9" Mid Tom, 12x8" High Tom, and a 14x5" Gretsch USA Custom Snare, with 21" Zildjian A-Custom Ride, 20" Zildjian A-Custom Crash, 14" Sabian AA Hihat, and 19" Zildjian K Dark Crash cymbals. Assets include a groove count of 151 across country, folk, blues, and jazz genres, with 9 production presets and 1 Original Mix preset. It is one of eight kits in the launch range of BFD Player expansions — Jazz Sticks, Jazz Brushes, Americana Sticks, Americana Brushes, Dark Copper, Vintage Rock, Metal Essentials, and Pop Essentials — which join the London '70 and Dark Mahogany kits launched with the VST last year and sell for $29 each. Compatibility is essential to catalogue correctly: BFD Player expansions require BFD Player 1.1.0 and are not compatible with BFD3. Requirements are Windows 10 version 1909 and above or macOS 10.13 to macOS 13 Ventura (Apple Silicon compatible), with 2 GB free disk space (10.5 GB recommended for all content), 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended), and a dual-core 2.5 GHz CPU, with installation and licence management handled through the inMusic Software Center.
