BFD Jazz Maple is an expansion for BFD3 which combines an immaculately recorded Yamaha Maple Custom drum kit with a set of artist presets and bonus jazz Grooves from Platinum Samples. The kit choice is deliberate: although the included kit's tone is particularly suited to jazz, fusion, and funk, it's great for any other musical styles that need expressive and great-sounding drums — a description that reflects the maple-shell Yamaha's warm, responsive character and its suitability for dynamic, brush-and-stick work. BFD Jazz Maple also includes a bonus reduced-detail snare, taken from BFD Signature Snares Vol. 1, and Sabian cymbals from BFD Jazz & Funk Collection, and it comes complete with a set of 5 Groove palettes from Platinum Samples' Real Jazz MIDI collection. It is a download-only expansion pack for BFD3, BFD Eco, and BFD2, and was produced by John Emrich for FXpansion. Requirements per the current listing are BFD 3 License Required on Windows 10 version 1909 and above or macOS 12 Monterey and above, with 4.46 GB free disk space required and an Intel Core i5 3.0 GHz or above. Supported formats are VST2, VST3, and AAX on Windows and VST2, VST3, AAX, and AU (Intel and ARM — Rosetta is not required) on Mac. Compatibility notes matter for the catalogue: BFD Jazz Maple is supported on BFD3, BFD Eco, and BFD2.1 and later versions, since BFD3, BFD Eco, and BFD2.1 (and later versions) are equipped to handle the data format and custom channel layout featured in this expansion; previous versions of BFD2 and BFD 1.x cannot. Note also that BFD expansions require BFD 3.5 and are not compatible with BFD Player expansions. It suits jazz, fusion, funk, and any production needing expressive acoustic drums, and it pairs naturally with BFD Virtually Erskine and the Virtually Erskine Grooves pack. #BFDJazzMaple #BFD #BFD3 #JazzMaple #Yamaha #MapleCustom #PlatinumSamples #DrumExpansion #DrumKits #AcousticDrums #Jazz #Fusion #Funk #Sabian #MusicProduction #VST2 #VST3 #AAX #AU #ProTools #LogicPro #Cubase #Reaper
