BFD Crush is an expansion pack for BFD3, BFD Eco, and BFD2, that captures a stunning Crush Drums Sublime AXM drum kit, tuned and processed by our in-house engineers to sound loud and proud out of the box, and perfect for all progressive and technical rock and metal genres. The kit setup is unusually extensive for a single library: three snare drums in eight different variations and tunings, two floor toms and four rack toms as configurable tom options, and 10 Meinl cymbals with stacked setup options for more heft. The microphone selection is named, which is unusual and useful: Audix D6, Sennheiser e602, AKG D112, AEA R84, and more — giving a genuine choice of capture character rather than a single fixed perspective, and configure mixes and tone with BFD's robust software tools. It includes 10 presets to push the kit even further and suits rock, metal, progressive rock and metal, technical metal, and djent. Requirements are BFD 3 License Required on Windows 10 version 1909 and above or macOS 12 Monterey and above, with 4.66 GB free disk space required per the current FAQ. A download size of approximately 6 GB is cited in the older FXpansion documentation, with installation options given during the BFD Crush installation. Supported formats are VST2, VST3, and AAX on Windows and VST2, VST3, AAX, and AU (Intel and ARM — Rosetta is not required) on Mac. Note that BFD expansions require BFD 3.5 and are not compatible with BFD Player expansions, and download, installation, and licence management are handled through the inMusic Software Center. #BFDCrush #BFD #BFD3 #Crush #CrushDrums #SublimeAXM #Meinl #DrumExpansion #DrumKits #AcousticDrums #ProgressiveRock #TechnicalMetal #Djent #Metal #Rock #MusicProduction #VST2 #VST3 #AAX #AU #ProTools #LogicPro #Cubase #Reaper
