Antelope Audio BAE-10DCF is an official emulation of a classic vintage broadcast compressor/limiter designed to provide both smooth compression and colorful, character-rich dynamics processing. It features separate compressor and limiter sections, with the limiter positioned first in the signal chain, and provides independent Threshold, Ratio, Attack, and Recovery controls for each section. The plugin also models the harmonic character of Carnhill and Jensen transformers, adding subtle saturation and analog coloration to the processed signal.

BAE-10DCF includes a Bypass Filter inspired by the B182 card of a 1073, allowing low frequencies to be excluded from the compressor's sidechain for more controlled processing. Its A1 and A2 automatic recovery modes provide program-dependent release behavior, adapting the response to isolated peaks and sustained levels. The plugin is available for Windows and macOS and can run natively in a DAW or in real time on compatible Synergy Core hardware, making it suitable for vocals, drums, guitars, bass, mix buses, and mastering.
