Ample Metal Hellrazer is an electric guitar instrument from Ample Sound, a developer known for sample-based guitar instruments with an extensive articulation system rather than simple riff libraries. The Metal line targets high-gain, downtuned, palm-muted guitar work, and the Hellrazer title covers the particularly aggressive end of that range — the territory of metal, djent, metalcore, and progressive metal. Ample Sound instruments typically provide multiple pickup selections, two channels with independent amp and cabinet models, a built-in effects chain, and a tab player that displays and plays Guitar Pro and MIDI tablature, plus support for keyswitches to trigger articulations. Articulations in a metal-oriented guitar instrument typically include sustain, palm mute, harmonics (natural, pinch, and artificial), hammer-on and pull-off, slides (in, out, and legato), bends, vibrato, and staccato, with round robin and randomisation to avoid repetition. The instruments are multi-sampled at high resolution and support direct input and amp-processed signals plus double-tracking and quad-tracking for thick rhythm parts. Ample Sound instruments run as standalone applications and as plugins in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats on macOS and Windows, in both 32-bit and 64-bit depending on the title. It suits metal, metalcore, djent, progressive metal, and heavy rock production. Confirm the specific guitar modelled, sample resolution, and current articulation list on the developer's product page, since these details vary across the Ample Metal range. #AmpleMetalHellrazer #AmpleSound #ElectricGuitar #Metal #Djent #Metalcore #ProgressiveMetal #HighGain #PalmMute #Articulations #TabPlayer #GuitarPro #DoubleTracking #MusicProduction #Standalone #VST #VST3 #AU #AAX #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase #Reaper
