Ample Guitar WF is described as aiming to bring a Gretsch Vintage 1959 White Falcon hollow body guitar sound to your studio. The instrument choice shapes everything about the library: the Gretsch White Falcon is a large hollow-body electric with Filter'Tron pickups, producing a mellower, woodier tone with less metallic edge than a solid-body, which places it in jazz, country, rockabilly, and vintage pop territory rather than high-gain work. A reviewer's comparison is useful: compared to Ample Guitar SH, it sounds more mellow and has less of a metallic and electrified edge, therefore it fits calm jazz bar settings like a glove. Its contents are documented: separate finger and pick samples, delivering clean tones, dynamic strums, and leads for rock, pop, and country, with 12 articulations including sustain, palm mute, harmonics, hammer-on/pull-off, legato slide, mordent, and tap, and polyphonic legato with smooth slides — the last of which the developer treats as a signature feature, describing polyphonic legato and slide smoother as enabling realistic legato across any interval and speed. It ships with Riffer 4 offering Piano Mode and Tab Mode for advanced MIDI for riffs, strums, chords, and string visualisation, plus a Strummer, Tab Reader, AMP Sim, Cabinets and Mixer, and FX including EQ. The library includes bridge, neck, and both pickup sample libraries in the pattern used across the range. System requirements are macOS 10.15 or later, Windows 7 to Windows 11 (64-bit), plugin formats VST2, VST3, AU, AAX, and a standalone host ("Rectangles"), disk over 10 GB with the sample library installed on an internal drive or an external SSD connected via USB 3.0 or faster, USB4, or Thunderbolt, and an Intel Core i5, AMD Ryzen 5, Apple Silicon M1, or higher CPU. Note that Ample Guitar doesn't work without the sample library, so both the plugin and library must be installed. It is priced at $178 list, commonly discounted to around $139. Ample Sound, founded in 2011, describes itself as a global leader in virtual instrument innovation with a core philosophy rooted in realism, creativity, and uncompromising quality. It suits jazz, country, rockabilly, vintage pop, and clean-toned rock production. #AmpleGuitarWF #AmpleSound #ElectricGuitar #Gretsch #WhiteFalcon #HollowBody #FilterTron #Jazz #Country #Rockabilly #VintagePop #Articulations #PolyphonicLegato #Riffer4 #Strummer #TabReader #AmpSim #MusicProduction #Standalone #VST2 #VST3 #AU #AAX #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase #Reaper
