Ample Guitar Semi Hollow is documented by the developer as modeled on a Gibson ES 335 semi-hollow body Guitar of Neck pick-up with fingerstyle, with the character described directly: it sounds warm and soft, comfortable with Jazz Fusion and Blues. That description reflects something real about the instrument: a semi-hollow body with a centre block produces a fuller low end and a slightly softer attack than a solid body, without the uncontrolled feedback of a fully hollow design, and the neck pickup position — which the library is specifically built around — emphasises the rounded, woody end of the instrument's range. Its library structure is documented: fingerstyle and pick libraries, and its specification is the finest-grained in the range at 5.1 GB, with 10 articulations: sustain, palm mute, natural harmonic, hammer on and pull off, legato slide, slide in, slide out, pop, pinch harmonic, and dead note, supported by polyphonic legato and slide smoother, which enables realistic legato across any interval and speed, and drop tuning supported with the lowest note down to D1. It shares the range's tooling: Riffer 4 with Piano Mode and Tab Mode, a Strummer, a Tab Reader supporting Guitar Pro files from GP3 to Guitar Pro 8, an AMP simulator, cabinets and mixer, and built-in effects: 8-band EQ, Compressor, Delay, and Convolution Reverb. System requirements are macOS 10.15 or later, Windows 7 to Windows 11 (64-bit), VST2, VST3, AU, AAX, and a standalone host ("Rectangles"), disk over 10 GB with the library on an internal drive or an external SSD connected via USB 3.0 or faster, USB4, or Thunderbolt, and an Intel Core i5, AMD Ryzen 5, Apple Silicon M1, or higher CPU. It is listed at $145 through European distributors. Note that Ample Guitar doesn't work without the sample library, so both the plugin and library must be installed. It suits jazz, jazz fusion, blues, soul, and clean rock production, and is a natural complement to the harder-voiced Ample Guitar LP and Ample Guitar TC in the same range. #AmpleGuitarSemiHollow #AmpleSound #ElectricGuitar #GibsonES335 #SemiHollow #NeckPickup #Fingerstyle #Jazz #JazzFusion #Blues #Soul #Articulations #PolyphonicLegato #Riffer4 #Strummer #TabReader #AmpSim #MusicProduction #Standalone #VST2 #VST3 #AU #AAX #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase
