Feelz Machine EP 03: Cancellations, Refunds, and Hard Questions

This week we talked about Tyla losing her Lagos show after a xenophobia backlash. Salif Keïta also pulled out of Macufe for similar reasons. We got into whether artists should have to speak on politics and who takes the financial hit when a show gets cancelled.

Then we hit the Cardi B situation. She pulled out of BZR WKND in Jamaica and we had a real debate about who owes the fans a refund. It got heated.

We also covered Geordie Greep cancelling his US tour after a misconduct allegation came out. Lots of moving parts in this episode and no easy answers. Watch it here: https://youtube.com/watch?v=KxdLKsvLwoo
